Utilising the latest technology to enhance the design process
At Silcock Leedham, we are strong advocates of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital engineering. We use these tools not just for 3D spatial allocation of services and design team communication but also for document standardisation and the automation of repetitive tasks, all of which enhance productivity and efficiency.
Revit and Navisworks are the pillars of our fully integrated BIM. We are skilled at setting up easy-to-transfer IFC files and have developed a standard set of COBie schedules for suppliers and manufacturers to populate in the BIM environment. We have further streamlined our BIM workflow and improved our response to design freezes by integrating Stabicad, enabling us to perform our engineering calculations directly in the 3D Revit model.
